Google Announces More Mobile Friendly Sites In Search Results

Google is taking this a step further now and making it compulsory to create a site that is mobile friendly that can be viewed on all sorts of devices, in an effort to serve more timely and accurate results. There is no point serving up a non-mobile friendly site on a mobile device, is there? Google has announced that coming this April 21st 2015, all sites that are not mobile friendly will now be demoted in rankings. It is changing its algorithm that will affect search results worldwide in all language and is considered to have a significant impact on search. It is definitely in the best interest of the web and the users seeking information as now they will be getting more optimized results on mobiles and other devices.

Google has been sending our warning to sites that do not meet this criteria in Webmaster Tools, in a bid to urge people to adapt to the changing algorithm before it takes effect on the 21st April, 2015.
